dc.description.abstract	We are pleased to share with you that TMI has been awarded with a Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Maritime Training Institutes (2nd Rank) in the category of "Pre-sea Training Institutes Conducting Courses for Officer Cadets" by the National Maritime Day Celebrations Committee (NMDC) in recognition of our academic excellence and commitment to student success. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our faculty, staff, and students. The award recognizes TMI as one of the top-performing institutes in the country. We were particularly honoured to receive this recognition because it takes into account a range of factors, including graduation rates, placements, student satisfaction and extra-curricular activities. As educators and learners, we all play a vital role in the success of our institute.
