AC0266 - Badminton Chanpionship 2023

Tolani Maritime Institute always adheres to its policy of training its cadets to be proficient in all facets of life by entrenching in them the fundamental principles of competitiveness. To achieve this, a number of inter-house sports events are organized every year for the cadets to participate in and prove their mettle. The recently held badminton Championship is the most fitting example of this practice. The best athletes of every house entered the fray with an iron will and a fire in their eyes to earn their house the trophy. After a number of intense matches, the players of the Morarjee house were the ones who rose above their competitors and proved themselves worthy of the coveted trophy while their opponents from the Master House came in second position. The third and fourth positions were occupied by Mudaliar House and Cassim House respectively. The title of best player in the boy's and girl's category respectively was bagged by Cadet Aman and Cadet Parul respectively, with the latter also being awarded the TMI blue for her truly exemplary performance in the matches. The title of best players in the doubles category was awarded to Cadet Kavesh and Cadet Parth of Morarjee House while Cadet Ayan and Cadet Ananya of Mudaliar House bagged the title of best players in the mixed doubles category. Mr. Shailendra Kumar graced the occasion as the chief guest and took the time to felicitate the winners by presenting them with well-deserved trophies.
